Of Mints and Men…Dragon Misrecognition

So, I’m steeped in the process of developing a design document outlining how we teach Dragon correction when in several of the training sessions, Dragon has provided some humor while misrecognizing what was actually spoken.  Two of our new Dragon masters were dictating sentences with the word “mint” this week..and here’s what happened:

Dictated Phrase:

I will need to order some mints

Dragon Wrote:

I will need to order some men.

And in another training session, the dictated phrase was:

I will need to order an assortment of mint flavors.

Dragon wrote:

I will need to order an assortment of men flavors.

So, after recovering from the laughter…and more laughter…of course “correct men” and “correct men flavors” were the next steps in each of those situations and accuracy was restored.

Mints instead of men…too funny!
